Xbox One users sensed an apocalypse after they found the system’s web store charging $5/£4 for demos of EA games FIFA 15 and EA Sports UFC this morning. However, in accordance with an EA Australia representative, panic stations needn’t be manned just yet as the listings are the result of a system error  Cheapest Fifa 15 Coins.

The EA representative told Polygon that this demos should reset to free next a day. The representative also noted the error isn’t within the PlayStation Network, and we’ve verified the demos remain free on PS4. Once we approached an EA UK representative he wasn’t in a position to offer official comment at the time of publication.

A method error isn’t hard to believe considering before today the FIFA 15 demo ended up free more than six months. Also, it’s higher than a bit odd for it be free during one system and paid on another. Whatever the case, if for most mad reason you’re thinking of shopping for one of many demos, wait out and hopefully we’ll get further word from EA soon. Update: An EA UK representative confirmed to Joystiq the priced demos were “caused by a technical error,” which has now been corrected. We’ve confirmed both UFC demo and FIFA 15 demo are reverted to free.
